Ms Verna Thomas passed away July 8, 2018 in Anchorage, Alaska.
Ms Thomas moved to East Palo Alto in 1964 and was there until her health started failing.
She resided in East Palo Alto for forty-nine years, until 2013.
Her daughter Linda Robinson came from Anchorage, Alaska and got her.
She lived in Alaska with her daughter for five years.
Her funeral service was held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Truelight Baptist Church at 1171 Runnymede Street in East Palo Alto.
The viewing was held in at the church from 10 a.m. to 11. am.
The arrangements were entrusted to Jones Mortuary, Inc. located at 660 Donohoe Street in East Palo Alto.
